Porsche Romania announces a change in the company’s management, effective May 1, 2026. Bogdan Florea (45) will be appointed Managing Director, taking over responsibilities from Mr. Brent Valmar (67), who will retire effective July 1, 2026, after a remarkable career.

In his new role, Bogdan Florea will coordinate sales activities in Romania together with Andreas Burgholzer (42). Bogdan Florea began his career at Porsche Romania in 2003 and most recently held the position of Brand Manager for Volkswagen Passenger Cars, where he achieved outstanding results. Over the years, he has contributed significantly to the brand’s development on the local market, strengthening its commercial performance and market positioning.

After an exceptional career, Mr. Brent Valmar is retiring, leaving behind an essential contribution to the company’s growth. Since the establishment of operations in Romania in 1998, he has played a decisive role in transforming Porsche Romania into a solid pillar of the Group’s distribution activities. Under his leadership, the company distinguished itself through performance, stability, and reliability, even in challenging economic and political contexts.

As a result, Porsche Romania has delivered to date a total of 715,860 passenger cars and commercial vehicles on the local market.

The success of Porsche Romania is closely linked to the activity and leadership of Mr. Brent Valmar, to whom sincere thanks are extended for his long-term contribution, along with best wishes for this new chapter of his life.

At the same time, Porsche Romania expresses its confidence in the new management team formed by Bogdan Florea (Sales) and Andreas Burgholzer (Finance and Back Office), wishing them success in achieving future objectives.

Furthermore, responsibility for the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand will be taken over by Tiberiu Bălan, who brings solid experience in the Corporate Clients & Authorities segment, as well as in managing the DasWeltauto brand. His current responsibilities will be assumed by Bogdan Ileana, currently Fleet Sales Team Leader.

Another change in the company’s structure concerns the Audi brand. Horațiu Moldovan, who has ensured interim leadership of the premium brand, will continue in the role of Audi Brand Manager.

At the same time, the SEAT | CUPRA brands will be coordinated by a new director, Ionuț Anghel, who brings experience in Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicles sales within the Porsche Inter Auto organization.
