75 countries, one ID. Buzz – Porsche Romania, part of the record route

On July 18, Porsche Romania hosted a more informal meeting: Rainer Zietlow, already the holder of 8 Guinness World Records, stopped by the Porsche Romania headquarters for a few hours, driving an ID. Buzz. The purpose of this stop was to mark a new milestone in his journey, which aims to set a new world record: driving around the globe in an ID. Buzz, crossing no fewer than 75 countries.

The starting point was the Volkswagen factory in Hanover. Over the course of the 8-month tour, in addition to Europe, Rainer will visit countries such as Indonesia, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, the USA, and Canada.

"With the 86 kWh battery in the ID. Buzz, we can achieve a range of over 400 kilometers per charge," explains Zietlow. "So I can cover stages even through sparsely populated areas along the route."
